About year 2000, I found out that phone exchanges, handling, say, a hundred thousand customers, were reachable by modem. Just phone a number, and you were in, no login, no password. I could shut the entire thing down! Of course, you needed to know the commands to use, but possibly by trying you could do damage. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R.
