When I try to run the installer, it says: ./install.wp: line 362: linux/ins/wpinstg: Unkown file or directory While that file does exist. When I run it directly, I get: bash: ./wpinstg: Unkown file or directory
What is happening??? How can it say that the file I'm trying to run doesn't exist while I even completed it with TAB? Thanks in advance, Z =================
Did you install the shlibs5 rpm from your SuSE cds? You will need those to run WP8 on the newer distros. These are the old libs needed to run the old programs not supported now. Once you have those libs installed, WP8 should start right from the WP8 cd as user. If you only have the downloaded version, then it should be accessible from the shell.
