* Tom Nielsen (Tom@Neuro-Logic.com) [030613 12:13]: ->I downloaded some cursors called RedDot. I followed the directions by ->making a folder called .icons, then making a sub-folder called default. ->I added a file called index.theme and referenced the RedDot cursors. I ->then placed a folder under .icons/reddot/cursors which contain all the ->cursors. It doesn't work. Well, it kind of works. Some places I get ->them, some I don't. -> ->I did the same thing to my office system and they work fine. -> ->Any thoughts? I did nothing else other that what I mentioned above. ->Everything at home is set like my office as far as the cursors are ->concerned. Edit ~/.Xdefaults and put this into it. Then restart X..including KDM. Xcursor.theme: reddot Xcursor.size: 32 The above lines need to be in .Xdefaults. I would also edit root's .Xdefaults file to match yours or the cursor will change when you run things like YaST2. -- The IQ and the life expectancy of the average American recently passed each other going in the opposite direction. ---===---===---===--- mailto:ben@whack.org
