Believe he means in konsole. What kind of laptop, what video drivers, what versions? I've got a Dell Studio 1745 which makes those changes okay.

Ah yes, sorry. It is konsole. My laptop is a Dell Latitude D820, with a 1920x1200 res monitor, which is why things show up so small by default. In the configuration settings for KDE I set the fonts for all GUI apps to be larger so that I can see them. However on the terminal side of konsole I can't adjust anything.
When you are in the konsole, right-click and select Configure Current Profile; then select Appearance>Tabs>Edit Fonts. As simple as falling off a log :-) . BC -- "Facts are stupid things."
