Has anybody come across these problems? This is make or break time for me and KDE. No cifs = No KDE = No SUSE. On Mon, 2005-01-31 at 14:10 +0000, Henry Standing wrote:
Whenever I access a mounted cifs share in Konqueror, Konqueror crashes. This worked fine in 9.1, and Windows 200 smbfs shares are fine. Any ideas?
SUSE 9.2
extract (names & pwds changed) from /etc/fstab:
\\ServerA\sharea /home/user/Documents cifs rw,uid=user,gid=users,username=user,password=passwd 0 0 \\ServerB\shareb /mnt/shareb smbfs rw,uid=user,gid=users,username=user,password=passwd 0 0
