Hello all, I got a new processor (Pentium 4, 3.0 Ghz , Hyper-Threading bla bla, 64-bit compatible) and I had to install SUSE 10 again so... This is my first time dealing with x86_64 packages at all! I'm having a hard-time with some applications (that used to work better on their 32-bit version). For example, mplayer won't play wmv9 videos because the codec's are 32-bit.... In order to install MPlayer 32-bit version I have to uninstall more than 8 packages (dependencies for mplayer as well for KDE, and other important apps). I'd rather install SUSE 10 (using all 32-bit packages). Is that possible? I noticed that when I go to YAST I can select a package and then I'll go to the version tab and I can choose the version I want (32 vs 64). I hope there's a nicer way during installation. Thanks for any help.
