Hi, I asked my System Admin a similar question the other day. He told me the best way is to open the box, and look with a flashlight for a "silkscreened" name on MB. He said the "name brand" boards will have one, whereas the "off brands" probably will just have a number, if that. However, he said if you can't find a name, try and find the FCC registration number. You can then look on FCC data base for "who" applied for the registration and hopefully they have a web site. -- "The quickest way to get information on the web is not to ask a question, but to post the wrong information." - Aahz' Law restated -- __________________________________________________________________ Introducing the New Netscape Internet Service.
