Hi list,
- I'm on SuSE11.1 with KDE 4.2.1 release 106. - my Knetworkmanager doesn't start by itself, I need to (using my ordinary account) to open up a shell and do "knetworkmanager". This causes knm to fire up, find my accesspoint and all is good.
Any ideas?
FWIW: In my /var/log/messages I get (among others, but I think these lines are important...):
Apr 24 07:50:34 linux-vg22 nm-dispatcher.action: Script '/etc/NetworkManager/dispatcher.d/autofs' exited with error status 1. Apr 24 07:50:35 linux-vg22 nm-dispatcher.action: Script '/etc/NetworkManager/dispatcher.d/nfs' exited with error status 6. As alsways, Thank You!!
Best regards, Verner
Verner, I can't help, I don't have kde4, but there were several other posts in the last day or so complaining about the same thing. You may need to check bugzilla and see if a bug report is already open. If not -- open one. knetworkmanager is one of those things that really has to work... -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E.
