I've been poking around trying to resolve an audio issue specific to Chromium on openSUSE. The symptoms... Audio is "crackling" (actually is sounds like an old 8-bit helicopter game) on only some Flash streams. An example of a Flash stream that is showing this behaviour: http://www.desura.com/games/snorms The flash streams on other sites such as YouTube (and others) works fine... this issue only shows up in some places. The same website on Firefox works fine - so I assume it's not a general Flash on openSUSE issue. I do not have Pepper installed in Chromium. Flash version is 11.2.202.275 Chromium is 27.0.1425.0 (185065) I've dug up this bug report: https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=224046 but no help. Anyone else having this issue?
