Hi all, I am struggling to work out how to integrate an external HP820 series PCMCIA SCSI CD-RW permanently into my laptop configuration - on SuSE 7.0. The correct drivers are loaded at boot time - PCMCIA, and nin-cs (I guess this is correct, as it works). I am able to communicate with it by using YAST - user administration - integrate CD-ROM at /dev/scd0. This process is a hack, as I then have to re-integrate my internal CD-rom (/dev/hdc) when I am finished reading the CD-RW. Can someone advise me on how to set up the correct configuration files in order for me to be able to simply mount this drive. Many thanks... Des Aubery...
