Its broken, as simple as that. It does validate the sig but it outputs the wrong error message to the screen. If the signature is really bad, then I think it outputs a different message if i remember. Something like "Invalid signature". Ewan On Wed, 2002-05-08 at 12:06, Guy Van Sanden wrote:
Hello
I'm running Ximian Evolution 1.03 (Suse 8.0, GPG 1.0.6). I seem to have a problem verifying messages sent with anything but evolution and mutt. Both PGP/Mime as standard ASCII-armoured messages get a "BAD signature" in the output of GPG. If I save an ASCII-armoured message to a file, and do: gpg --verify file.txt, it gives "Good signature".
I requested a userid on the Evolution bugtracking system, but there's been no response yet.
Does anyone know what the problem is?
Thanks
