Hi, I've found this interesting article on LinuxPlanet: http://www.linuxplanet.com/linuxplanet/tips/3878/3/ It says, in short, that antialiasing is compromised in SuSE 7.3 and can be much improved by turning the 'byte code interpreter' in freetype2 back on. Now I'm wondering: Antialiasing seems to work pretty well on my system (Dell Inspiron 7500 with ATI Rage Mobility, SuSE 7.3 out-of-the-box install), fonts looking nice, although not quite as nice as in Windows, for example, although I have MS fonts installed. Can I improve font quality by following the steps in the article? If yes, where can I get the freetype2-2.0.4-23.src.rpm, I couldn't find it in my Personal distro, or on the SuSE ftp site. Any comments? Klaus __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Send FREE Valentine eCards with Yahoo! Greetings! http://greetings.yahoo.com
