Hello,
When I transfer large files from one machine to another, the network interfaces disconnects spontaneously. No communication on the network interface is no longer possible. Below a snippet of the messages file. The problem seems to start at the entry WARNING: at net/sched/sch_generic.c:219.
openSUSE 11.1 kernel: 2.6.27.29-0.1-xen (prior kernels of the 2.6.27 have the same problem) HW: Fujitsu Siemens server RX200
Anybody have I idea?
mfg,

Jeroen, Two things. (1) you will get more help if you don't hijack threads, but instead start a new one for your question. It is very apparent that you opened the message: "Re: [opensuse] Can't Be -- Little Green Icon of Ardvark's Butt" and changed the subject and then posted your message. This is called hijacking a thread because it breaks message threading for everyone who reads the list in threaded mode (you set this option in your mail reading program) See: http://www.3111skyline.com/download/openSUSE_bugs/kde4/screenshots/broken- thread.jpg (2) From the log below it looks like 1 of 2 things (see below)

Install and run memtest86+ to check memory, and load mcelog which might help narrow down the issue if it is hardware related. Good Luck -- and no more hijacking... -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E.
