Good afternoon folks, I've come across a rather strange problem with NFS mounts on one of my systems. I'm receiving an error that states that the mount version is older than the kernel, which in turn fails the mount. What I've done thus far - recompiled the mount program from the latest source. recompiled the kernel, then compiled mount again. no dice. This was working fine up until the point where I ran YOU and updated the system. Somehow the update also brought down a kernel, which was installed, and subsequently caused numerous problems with the machine, not limited to kernel panics and the system hanging. I restored my original kernel and system.map files, but ever since then, NFS has not worked properly. I've tried this using kernel 2.4.22 and 2.4.19, no luck. This is a suse 8.1 pro build. I've repeatedly searched for this error on google and a few other search systems, and have yet to come across a correct solution, or even a relevant answer. Any insight here would be appreciated. Thank you. -- .--------------------------------------. |Jason DeCamp - jason@teletran-one.net | .--------------------------------------.
