I try to select and copy the text to avoid this when I think of, but often forget.
Do you know where Firefox store the text buffer? Is there a way to recover this text?
thanks jdd Contact the admins of these forums. We've seen this in the pre-openSUSE forums at a forums-software update. People got thrown out if writing a post took them longer than 20 minutes, post gone. So, the admins should adjust either that, or cache the content of posts every X minutes. I've tried lazarus in the past, but left that path ( don't remember why )
This has been plagueing us people for so long. These days many forums store saved drafts themselves that you can recover (paste) into an editing window. In Opera (and Chrome I guess) there has always been excellent "back" support but this didn't always work. It may not work if the page submit is dynamic (and not a link) I guess. It may not work if pressing "back" will cause the page to reload itself (I think). I've lost so many important messages..... Like some days ago there was another forum and I submitted my post and nothing happened. Then I pressed back and it was still there. OOF!. I don't really know a solution for myself. If the forum saves drafts, all worries are gone mostly. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
