hi all
i've a problem with apache: 1. when i want to allow users to publish personal website
my httpd.conf settings are Userdir public_html
Options None Allowoverride All Order allow, deny Allow from all </directory> when i try to browse with www.domain.com/~user/ ->it generated an error: You don't have permission to access /~user on this server.
i didn't change the premission for user dir, should be changed to 755- then it works!!
2. i'm doing virtual hosting. so do i put the scripts in another directory. i've tried to put it as
... scriptalias /cgi-bin/ "/usr/local/httpd/cig-bin/newdomain" ....
well the above should work just add a '/' ad the end of newdomain i.e. scriptalias /cgi-bin/ "/usr/.../newdomain/" hope anyone of u who've the same problem solved it too. cheers tk __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
