I'll assume it's because the Konqueror is built for the PAE 52-bit (x86_64) memory model. I'm not a big KDE user, so please correct my ignorance if this is not the case.
Also, how is SuSE Linux x86-64's GNOME environment built? Nautilus, Mozilla, etc... features? Is it the PAE 52-bit model (x86_64), or 32-bit (i386)?
I have AMD Turion(tm) 64 Mobile ML-40.
