I have the task of replacing NT 4 with SuSE Linux on a HP Netserver E60. It has PIII 450 with 128Mb Ram, 9.1GB SCSI Drive, IDE CD-Rom and an Onstream 30GB IDE Tape Drive. Has anyone installed SuSE Linux on this type of server and if so, how did it go, were there any problems encountered I need to know about. I have to have this server up and running by Monday @ 9:00 AM and I am hoping you guys out there will give me any info I may require. I have set up many servers before with SuSE but this will be my first from this manufacturer.
If you've got to get it going for Monday better start now and post
I am just doing a full backup on it before commencement. At least I will be
able to restore if it goes belly-up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Albeit back to NT 4.
Hopefully I won't post any problems...................

as they arise! I'll help where I can.
Everything listed should (in theory) work with SuSE 7.0. There's an update/patch on the SuSE ftp server for the Onstream tape drive.
I'd start with the minimal install (no X) and build on from that.
