My grub produced by Opensuse 10.3 shows five choices. Windows XP, Drdos, Suse 10.2 and Suse 10.3 and its Failsafe choice. When I choose Suse 10.2 I should get the original menulist from 10.2 with similar choices. Up to an update (cannot remember when that was) everything worked as expected. Now if I choose Opensuse10.2 I end up without this 10.2 menu and what makes it worse, on Drdos. I have checked the menulist from 10.3 which looks okay. For 10.2 it shows: (root (hd0,6)) configfile /boot/grub/menu.lst The last sentence is repeated 6 times (?) but reducing it to one time does not improve the booting. I have checked the 10.2 partition and the menulist is there with the usual input. How can I get my 10.2 back? Whether a faulty partition information has anything to do with this problem, I do not know. All my partitions except swap are mentioned as Linux native (0x83 Linux) and Yast partitioner is not able or willing to change these partitions into FAT32 and NTFS. If I know where this info is kept I would change it with an editor. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
