[Jul 31. 2001 10:55]: Hi, Situation: when i start my PC, LILO presents to me the choice of kernel to start ==> OK BUT when i restart my PC without doing a physicaly shutdown, LILO starts without proposed me choices. I suspect that it's not normal. Any suggestion?
How do you restart?
in KDE, ==> Quitter l'environnement ( so in english logout) and after i choose to restart computer. So always by software... :-))
And you didn't notice the choices on the 'reboot' option? It allows you to select which system to reboot.
Normal operation.
Here's the copy of my lilo.conf boot = /dev/sda vga = 771 read-only menu-scheme = Wg:kw:Wg:Wg lba32 prompt timeout = 80 message = /boot/message image = /boot/vmlinuz label = linux root = /dev/sda3 initrd = /boot/initrd image = /boot/vmlinuz.last label = linux.last root = /dev/sda3 initrd = /boot/initrd.last image = /boot/vmlinuz.suse label = suse root = /dev/sda3 initrd = /boot/initrd.suse optional other = /dev/sdb1 label = nt image = /boot/memtest.bin label = memtest86
