I assume you are using samba. Try [zVolume] available = yes path = whatever browseable = yes create mode = 0777 read only = no locking = no username = horribleUserName This should work as a general share for username "horrible..." Regards, Bruce.
Hi folks,
I know this can be done , but how.
I want a particular pc to autamaticaly mount a shared dir/path off of the linux server. Right now I need to mount it as root every time hae needs to use it , and that is a pian , and I do not want to give him root access.
any one know how to do this ?
