I used to think that it was a problem with the servers, but since updating to 10.1, I have not expierenced EZMLM warnings, at all. But, uptime on 10.1 has been *much* better than ANYTHING previous. I have been unable to lock it up with all the _messing_ that I do. :^)
I very much doubt that those bounces are caused by your SuSE install. Much likely they are caused by hiccups at your internet provider, or SuSE's, but in order to make an educated guess one has to get a look at the reason adduced in the bounce message. For instance, the last one I got (June 9th), said, at the bottom: | Hi. This is the qmail-send program at lists.suse.com. | I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses. | This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out. | | <***@telefonica.net>: | 213.*.*.* does not like recipient. | Remote host said: 550 RCPT TO:<****@telefonica.net> User unknown | Giving up on 213.*.*.*. Obviously, that was a fault at my ISP, and it only affected one email; there is no way my install or at SuSE's end would affect it. Notice that as the remote server said it was a permanent error, it is bounced; otherwise, it would keep trying for some days. - -- Cheers, Carlos E.
