Hi all,
I have a standard PHP 4.02 , Apache , MySQL , mod_ssl setup. PHP 4.03 has just been released, and is highly recommended.
If I compile the new PHP, do i have to recompile Apache ? Or do I simply copy the new php.ini to /usr/local/lib ?
Best regards

If you have mod_so compiled into you Apache, then you just compile php,php with apxs support, install it that should be it. ~/php-4.0.3$ ./configure --with-apxs=/path/to/apache/bin --with-mysql ~/php-4.0.3$ make ~/php-4.0.3$ make install /path/to/apache/bin/apachectl stop /path/to/apache/bin/apachectl start --jq -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq
