The sources are in /var/cache/apt/archives You can backup these rpms to cd/dvd and put them back into this folder on subsequent reinstalls, it saves a hell of a lot of downloads. That is good to know. ...And for one last item --I hope-- it seems that the DVD doesn't want to add (using apt-cdrom & switches) so I guess that means
