I am confused. Would be grateful if you explained what is going on. I attach the last Xorg.0.log file.
Uninstallation of proprietary drivers is incomplete. Xorg.0.log reports using user-mode NV driver instead of NOUVEAU driver, which happens because proprietary driver uninstallation failed to remove nomodeset from kernel cmdline in your Grub stanza. NOUVEAU will not be used by Xorg until the xorg-x11-driver-video-nouveau package is installed, even though nouveau is integral to kernel modesetting. So, with nomodeset removed from cmdline, Xorg should fall back to using the much slower generic FBDEV X driver until xorg-x11-driver-video-nouveau is installed. AFAIK, GeForce 6200 should work OK with Nouveau. Suggested actions: 1-install xorg-x11-driver-video-nouveau 2-remove nomodeset from main Grub stanzas (but not from failsafe stanzas) 3-be a FOSS (aka Nouveau) proponent 4-remember 12.2 is coming up on a year past support termination, and has security vulnerabilities fixed in later releases -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive."
