Hi pascal, I've installed SuSE 6.4 and 7.0 on netfinity 3000/3500 and I've never had any major problem. I always had to recall linux that i was using a aic78xx scsi card, but despite this little trouble, nothing to be said. The netfinitys 3500 were single processor (PIII-667) with 512 Mb memory, 3 U2SCSI HD (9Mb each) no raid with a 20/40 mb dlt. I experienced twice a HD crash with one of the netfinity (it was the same Position on the SCSI cable... very strange problem...) but nothing to say about hardware problem regarding SuSE....
