Uninstall pm-utils. No longer needed. Please explain what replaces it for the purpose discussed here. Apparently handled all by systemd, via acpi, Setting default bootloader (grub2) menu entry to use on next boot? Are you sure you understand what we are talking about? Quite.
This is a well known issue.
The script in pm-utils has been the source of a lot of problems on resume. Simply delete the package, and let systemd figure it out. I have pm-utils installed. I'll try without it tonight and let you know my results.
I've hibernated and resumed several times over the past few days and I can confirm that pm-utils caused my problems. After uninstalling, hibernating was much faster, too.
