Go To Control Center
The select YaST2 modules.
Then Hardware.
Then Network Devices.
Then Network Card.
The wizard will take to where you can choose DHCP or static IP.

How do I set the IP address on my nic? I have a new Suse 9.3 install, connected to an firewall/router/dhcp via ethernet. I'd like to change the address (internal) from that the router gave this box. I looked at ifconig --help but was unsure if that was the way to go, an which options to select.
