Which means you can't just browse through a log file using grep, awk, and/or more (or less).
journalctl | grep xxx
or
journalctl > /tmp/xxxx then do your stuff
How can I read the log files if I mount the partition in another system which doesn't run systemd (windows or bsd)? Is it possible at all? Simple text files can be read by any text reader.
