My wife is not thrilled with Windows, but she has watched me waste so much time and curse so often (and fervently), that she flatly doesn't believe Linux could EVER have any value to her, and has been nagging me to remove the SuSE 7.3 partition from her machine (formerly mine), because she's certain that it's having a bad effect on her Windows 98 operation. On the other hand, this is the same woman who thought I was nuts to pay extra for a high-speed connection, and even more nuts to buy a little router. Now she couldn't live without either of them. But Linux, for her, is a lost cause. Also, I have no answer to her question: "If it's so good, then why do you keep "upgrading" every six months?" She laughed out loud when I tried to install 8.0 and the DVD wouldn't work. I had a different reaction... But, after 20 years, this is still Wife 1.0 :-) /kevin
