Yes, I know that but this Dell PowerEdge only has a CD Rom, and no DVD, and you can't boot from USB Drive. That is why I asked about 5 Disc. I am trying to set up a server.
Borrow a DVD from another machine?
Download the boot cd from the download page, then do an NFS installation from some other network PC with the DVD in it. It seems to work better if you first copy DVD-1 onto the "server" hard drive. With units in the past that would do network boot from rom, I had no problems sharing the DVD...but yesterday, using the "boot CD" method, it would not go to the server's DVD (I suspect HAL got in the way???). So I copied the DVD-1 to an NFS-exported folder, and all went well. Tom in NM -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
