Ewan PM 5.01 is adequate, when XP is not involved. When I have a choice, I create a FAT32 Windows boot partition, even though 2K or XP are installed on NTFS, as this gives more options for multiple boot. Right now, I'm running SuSE on a laptop where I used PM5.01 to make room for linux alongside 2K.
One of the obstacles I find with avoiding use of 2K is the lack of common fonts between Word and StarOffice. Not to mention the number of places where linux is shut out of my employer's network.
