Hi Everybody, I'm looking for a (preferably Linux) program to low level format a Jaz drive, with no success. The first 750 MB of the medium used to work fine, whereas the last 250 MB reported "address mark not found" errors. I used a Linux program I found on Freshmeat called scsifmt in an attempt to "fix" the medium, but now I can't access any of the medium. I get errors about "defect list not accessible" (or something like that). fdisk refuses to access the medium. I also tried the Linux program 'sformat' but that doesn't even activate the device LED. (Low level format = put info on blank medium to delineate sectors and tracks) Other suggestions?
