it's only hold a link to the actual repository. Looks like yum is able to scan it, but I don't know if zypper do (zypper in don't)
Is there any reason in particular you want to use yum over zypper anyway? And what repo are you specifically looking for? or program or what?
1) i'm not the creator of the rpm 2) it don't seems to work with zypper (or need some syntax I don't know) 3) it have on the end the need to be available for any Linux Distribution (it's a collection of all the LDP HOWTOs) Yum is said to give a list of the HOWTOs for anybody choice NB: I installed the most recent cthiel yum version, and it seems to work better: at least don't ask for openSUSE repository but to tldp one - not available, but this is an other story thanks jdd -- http://www.dodin.net http://valerie.dodin.org http://news.opensuse.org/2009/04/13/people-of-opensuse-jean-daniel-dodin/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
