Should a DVD burned from the on-line ISO image pass the Media Check function in YaST?

I have more and more writing problems with cd or dvd, maybe the quality is lowering...

Definition of maximum burning speed is valid for certain combination of raw media and drives, but I haven't found references in manuals for drives or on CD/DVD media lables. I would use slower burning speed than declared maximum. Something around 1/2 of maximum gives good results here and time used to burn is still short enough. I have no more coasters burned from valid iso files. -- Regards, Rajko. http://en.opensuse.org/Portal -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
