Is there any need to enable:
- Compiz (e.g., /repositories/X11:/Compiz/openSUSE_11.1/) - Xgl (e.g., /repositories/X11:/XGL/openSUSE_11.1_KDE4_Factory/)
I would think they are not needed. In fact, could anything from them that is already installed really be needed?
Hi, I removed the packages and than removed these repositories, when I changed to KDE4. These are not needed if you'd like to use KDE4's desktop effects, or no effects at all. Btw. if you'd like to keep the possibility to go back to KDE3 with compiz, you need these. HTH.
