my sons mobo is Aopen AX63 Pro VIA Apollo Pro 133 AGPset
Remember Tomshard...... some specific Nv_AGP and NV_VIA options
I think there is something wrong inbetween kernel settings SMP - MTTR and the NVdriver in the suse distributions-settings for that particular AGP chipset.
Tommorow I'm going to try another mobo for my son. Let you know.
Filip.

dont say im on the bleeding edge !
I found some more instructions, which were pretty similar, im thinking theres a specific problem here too.
If you suspect that there may be an AGP problem there is a way to disable it. Try: # your pre-existing screen section Section "Screen" ... # adding this option disables AGP. # a "1" will enable AGP (the default) Option "NvAgp" "0" ... EndSection This is out of the NVidia FAQ. -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq
