easy one, this.....set your windows printer up in YaST (Configure Samba Printer) which you will be asked to give a name to. In Netscape simply then use the lpr command for that printer. Eg. If the printer share is called Deskjet4050, for instance, you'd use "lpr -PDeskjet4050" instead of "lpr". This is the generic way of printing to any specified printer - "lpr -P<printername>". I cannot print from Netscape to a network printer. I use SuSE 6.3. The network is Windows with TCP/IP protocal. I tried the settings in YAST, but this does not work. I can print to file and shoot the file to the printer with ghost script. But I really would like to be able to click on a button to print. Samba is installed
