Hi - I had to use top this morning to kill a program that would not respond to xkill. I opened a bash shell, su'd to root then ran top. I was able to kill the process but noticed that I had about 14 instances of kdeinit running. As far as I can tell only 3 of these processes are related to programs that I am currently running. My question is -- most of the kdeinit processes are sleeping, is it safe to kill these others?
