Why should you not be able to install the RPMs from Openoffice.org?
Because that one is different from the Go-oo version that openSUSE has been installing. I want/need the Go version of OO, the one from Novell. If LO is not up to the task, the replacement is not the OO from OOo, but the one from Novell prior to LO.
