I noticed that my imap server (dovecot) was not running so I checked with chkconfig and found that it was set to "off". I tried to change the status using chkconfig and got the following error message. insserv: Forward service request to systemctl returned error status : 256 Is chkconfig now obselete? How is it possible to manage services so that they autostart? Is there an alternative to chkconfig for systemd? I am using openSuSE 12.2 and KDE 4.9. Any help would be appreciated. (Please note that I have started the server manually using systemctl, so I'm not asking about that. I am asking about setting the system so that when I restart, the imap server is started automatically without me having to manually start it.)
