Interesting subject line.... In all of human existence it seems the answer is "not really". Someone(s) charted all the known wars and conflicts during recorded history, then applied some really cool patterning algorithms and came up with a "war cycles" chart for predicting times of greater (or lesser) chances for conflict. Right now we are smack in the middle of a major upswing that doesn't peak until after 2020 So, can we get along? Individually? Yes. Nationally, culturally, politically, philosophically, it seems not so much. Stay safe, hunker down, ride it out. The world only lost about 50 million in WW2 so there's an odds-on chance you'll make it through to better times ahead.
