Thus I tried to build it myself. I don't see any "IMAPClient.pm" anywhere. I googled for "opensuse.org: IMAPClient.pm", and found references for "perl-Mail-IMAPClient...rpm", but I don't see that package in yast. Searching again the buildservice I see it in server:mail: <http://software.opensuse.org/package/perl-Mail-IMAPClient?search_term=IMAPC…> but again it does not build, only the sources are available. [opensuse] Data loss bug for win8 dual booters (including opensuse dual booters)

All, (someone should forward this to the forums if its not already there). Just a heads up that win8 introduced a (on by default) feature that can cause data loss for all dual booters. From what I understand, the only real solution is to disable the feature in win8. http://www.h-online.com/open/features/Linux-and-Windows-8-Fast-Startup-puts… There is a opensuse bug: Bug 798337 - ntfs and fat filesystem corruption with windows 8 systems - ntfs-3g vfat state saved across shutdowns But the opensuse solution I suspect will just be to fail mount attempts if the new win8 cache file is found. (I'm the volunteer maintainer for the bug, so I have to research exactly what the best fix is. This affects all versions of opensuse including factory. Once I have a potential fix, I will make a call for testers since I don't have a win8 machine to test with). I want to use snapper in opensuse12.2. I tried to install opesuse12.2 in Vmware Workstation because i want to use snapper. But i got error during Auto configuration step as follow Cannot access installation media http"//download.opensuse.org/distribution/12.2/repo/non-oss/ (Medium 1) Check whether the server is accessible. how to remove it ? or Can i skip this step ? if yes (i trid it) then how to finish auto configuration after installation. [opensuse] Repeated messages in rsyslog.

[opensuse] Does tar descend into directories before extract?
