I wasn't able to get Netscape nor StarOffice to print to the Z52. I'd been so busy, I'd not taken the time to clean up printcap! I deleted all the ljet4 crap out of it, and now it works with both....even though there's NOT a Z52 driver supplied by S.O. Use the "generic" driver, and ALL of the dpi settings are available, as is paper, etc. Lexmark really did a GOOD job with this driver. Fred -- If you listen on a quiet night, you can hear the sound of an NT Server reboot.

Silly question, but what was the significants of the 12th being the release date? Was there something that set the 12th apart, was it because it's a Monday? Hi I'd say go for an Athlon. If it's a bit too expensive, go for a Duron. www.tomshardware.com has some good processor benchmarks and information. Connection Pooling Java Server

Does anyone know of a freeware java server that will maintain a persistent pool of database connections supporting Oracle and MySQL? It does not have to support EJB's but needs to support jsp and preferably have an apache plug-in. The last time I looked at Resin, about 6 mothns ago, it did not do this. If you are familiar with Weblogic, this is exactly what I want, but I do not want to shell out upwards of 100K for this. Thanks greatly for any suggestions. -CC

I was just wondering if the next version of SuSE will include the Ximian package for gnome (Ximian 1.0)? Also wondering if SuSE plans on using 2.4.1 for the kernel or just a hacked version of 2.4.0? The press release of the next version was not very helpful on what SuSE plans on for version 7.1, so I guess I was just wondering what new and great stuff is gonna be on 7.1.... Thanks ...:::...

For your information, just updated to KDE2.1 beta 2 using Yast and ftp from kde.org. went like a dream. Logged in and it ran with no problem at all:)) -- Stu "The specification said Windows 95 or better, so I installed Linux"
