[opensuse-es] Mount Hard Disk Trouble
hello everybody, please, i need help, the problem is this: i had a 80gb HDD IDE and may it's broken, because when i connect it in the pc and start with Suse, the OS don't mount the disk itself, and when i type a "ls /dev/sd*" the result is: /dev/sda /dev/sda1 /dev/sda2 /dev/sda3 /dev/sdb and that's all! i can't see sdb1, sdb2 or sdb3 and i don't know why... can i fix the partitions without loss information? ¡thank you! Das pocos datos. ¿Qué versión de openSUSE tienes? ¿Qué formato tienen las particiones del disco duro? ¿NTFS, FAT32, ext3, reiserfs...? Quizá tengas que montarlo "a mano". Pon la salida de "fdisk -l". ¿Estás seguro de que se trata de sdb y no otro? Se ve mirando las últimas lineas del log del kernel (tail -f /var/log/messages) (o las ultimas del comando "dmesg"). Prueba a desenchufarlo y enchufarlo otra vez (suponiendo que sea un disco externo). Si es interno, la información está en /var/log/boot.ALGO. Se puede ver la tabla de particiones con algún editor de particiones, como por ejempo, fdisk. A ver que te dice. ¿Estás seguro de que tiene particiones? Se pueden crear discos duros sin ninguna partición, y funcionan. Prueba: "file -s /dev/sdb". Si la tabla de particiones se ha destruido, se puede averiguar como era con el comando gpart. - -- Saludos Carlos E.
