In der CUPS 1.2 /etc/cups/cupsd.conf etwa folgendes setzten:
-------------------------------------------------------------------
# All administration operations require an adminstrator
# to authenticate...
AuthType None
Order deny,allow
</Limit>
-------------------------------------------------------------------
[...]
Danke, nun funktioniert für vorhandene Drucker die Verwaltung ohne
Authentifizierung.
Wir haben nun die entfernte Verwaltung via localhost:631 erlaubt. Dies
ergab die folgende cupsd.conf:

Will man allerdings weitere Drucker hinzufügen wird allerdings immer
noch nach user/pw gefragt. Wie kann man auch hier die passwort-freie
Verwaltung ermöglichen?
Vielen Dank.
