'Prompt' nennt man das Ding, das Dir anzeigt, ob die Shell bereit für Deine Eingabe ist. Darin findet man häufig den Usernamen und das aktuelle Verzeichnis. In Deinem Fall dann auch noch Kontrollzeichen, die den Titel des Xterms ändern.
