PLEASE, turn off word-wrap for that portion.
Unfortunately, TB can not do that in plain text mode. html mode is needed :-p
It is a broken feature, it could do it in the past.
There is a TBird add-on called Toggle Line Wrap which does just that. In fact, IIRC, it may have been you who suggested it to me. Yes (in anticipation of your unnecessary response), I do agree that this is the sort of thing which TBird itself ought to be able to handle. No, I will not be getting involved in any discussion about line wrap in TBird -- not here, and not in private.
You are correct. However, after TB was reworked, the plugin which I had (from Jan Kiszka) stopped working. A new one was developed (from Kaspar Brand), but it required invasive permissions and I refused. https://addons.mozilla.org/addon/toggle-word-wrap/ Dead link. It is disabled and TB refuses to enable it, it is greyed out. So I search for another addon. I find one by Jan Kiszka (again?) Ah, it says: Note that this add-on requires an WebExtension Experiment API, thus will request "full access" on installation. I have installed it anyway, didn't ask for any permission, and will test (and report, as this is a support issue). Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua. Ut enim ad minim Ok, tested: it is a toggle for the entire email, not for a paragraph. That's unfortunate, but can do. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 15.5 x86_64 at Telcontar)
