I use SuSE 7.0 (not 7.1 as yast offers by default) distribution to update eMail Server II. It works so far.

Are we to assume that we should use the kernel for the 7.0 distro tp update the eMail Server II product? Or will there be a separate update posted for it?
- Herman
Well, to be honest, if you look at the kernel rpms in the different
distribution directories: They are all the same. Those kernels are
supposed to be universal kernels, they should work on all distributions,
not limited to SuSE. A lot of effort has been put into making these
kernels work with each product, and the fact that currently all
distributions are being tested against them guarantees us the quality of
the kernels (speaking of 2.2.19).
There will be a dedicated update mechanism for the commercial SuSE
products soon, though.
