Hehe, to make it short - all well-know anti-virus products and not so well-known like AVX or NOD32 work on my SuSE 6.2 and SuSE 7.0 Pro. :) The only issue I'm aware of is NAI uvscan 4.7, as it's libc based, so you'll need shlibs5 installed - but this should be the default afaik. And, Panda AntiVirus/Linux works, too, although the (spanish) web page says it runs only with RedHat and Mandrake (if I understand it correctly).
So finally they've surrender to the unavoidable? Have they issued a Linux version of their AV software? I still remember phoning them some months ago about this topic and getting an amusing answer: "Linux? We only work with Windows and don't have any plans about Linux for the future". Nice, isn't it? Well, because of this, they've lost a really good customer (400+ user licenses gone to McAfee). Best regards. -- Marco Antonio Blanco Activa Sistemas, S.Coop.And. www.activasistemas.com
